New Haven, Fairfield, New London, New York, and New Port were the major port cities on Long Island
Sound. New London was the only port not significantly impacted by the British for the entirety of the
War. Join our executive director Steve Manuel as he discusses the impact of the free port of New London
in supporting the American Revolution.
