Becoming a Member
The New London County Historical Society has been a membership-based organization since it began in 1870. Our members understand how this region has been defined by its past, how history is the fabric of the community and key to our sense of place. Members support our mission which is unique amongst our many local historical organizations in being county-wide:
The mission of the New London County Historical Society is to inspire residents and visitors to appreciate the county’s past and draw upon its rich heritage to understand the present and imagine its future.
Membership sales are available online for individuals and families at different levels.
Businesses have also supported the Historical Society as sponsors for special events and as members. Educational memberships are available for educational institutions which provide benefits for the entire school community.
NLCHS members are part of the field of membership for the SCIENT Federal Credit Union. Exceptional loan rates are available through SCIENT because of your membership.
