Benedict Arnold Lecture

Benedict Arnold was born in Norwich. The son of a sea captain father, and Lathrop mother he was destined for Yale. His alcoholic father impoverished the family and was sent to debtor’s prison. Arnold never made it to Yale. Instead his Lathrop uncles taught him the pharmacy business. Learn how Arnold was impacted by his childhood, and why he turned coat.
