Pride and Prejudice explores the importance of marrying for love at a time when society is pressuring young women to find profitable suitors. DESCRIPTION:Mystery and intrigue are afoot at the Shaw Mansion in New London! NLCHS is partnering with Sanctum Simulations\, LLC to host a Murder Mystery Dinner on Saturday\, March 23\, 2019. Join us for dinner and a show as you step back in time and help Nathaniel Shaw Perkins Jr. discover hidden clues and plots that will lead investigators to the true identity of the murderer. Solve the case and enjoy a night out with friends in this unique opportunity to participate in an interactive Victorian-era mystery dinner in the historic Shaw Mansion. \nThe Murder Mystery Dinner will be held on Saturday March 23\, 2019 at 6:00pm. The Shaw Mansion is located at 11 Blinman Street in New London. On street parking is available on Bank Street and Blinman Street\, and in the municipal lot on Tilly Street. Seating for the dinner begins at 5:15pm. Tickets are limited! The cost of the dinner is $40 for members and $50 for nonmembers.
